Patricia Byrns joined the Access Psychology Foundation as the Director of
Development in February 2024. Patricia has over 25 years of experience in the
education, philanthropic, and publishing sectors. Before joining the Access
Psychology Foundation, Patricia was the Director of Donor Relations at Mercy
University and Sales and Marketing Manager at Orbis Books.
Patricia earned a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science and a Master of
Science in Organization Leadership. Patricia earned the Certified Fund Raising
Executive (CFRE) designation in 2020 and is a current Ph.D. student at Tiffin
University studying Global Leadership and Change.
As a nonprofit leader and frontline fundraiser, Patricia has raised millions of
dollars by engaging passionate supporters in the private, corporate, and
foundation industries.
Patricia previously served as an officer for the Association of Fundraising
Professionals Westchester Chapter and is a member and volunteer of numerous
local and national nonprofit organizations.
Patricia enjoys gardening, playing chess, and evening walks with her dog,
Chester, in her free time. Patricia resides in Westchester County with her husband
and two sons.
